Another birthday hat & craft kit

Hat for Brooklyn's Birthday

Peelu is modeling her friend's gift.

Modeling birthday gift hat

My go-to little girl hat pattern. Easy to whip out when a birthday party is suddenly here.

I loved this flower

This flower is one of my favorite that I've made. For the hat I used Lion Brand's Nature's Choice Organic Cotton in Strawberry. The flower is a combination of Red Heart & Sole Sock yarn in Green Envy and Vanna's Glamour yarn in Topaz.

Birthday Gift Tote Bag

And the craft kit bag was another sweet butterfly that I stenciled, with Peelu directing the colors. I love this season of girl parties!

    1. Oh boy am I! Yikes! We should totally swap some produce and seeds this year. That would be awesome. I'd even trade you some honey for some goat cheese!

  2. What a beautiful bag and hat for Peelu's friend. I like the graduated colors on the stencil. You are so talented! I sew and embroider but haven't delved into knitting or crochet yet. I guess that's something to put on my bucket list.

  3. OK you've convinced me that I must learn crochet this year. That hat is so gorgeous. Love the chunkiness of it!
