This was such an easy project for the first week of kindergarten for M's class.
White construction paper, some brushes and tempera paint was all that was needed.
Oh, and some cute little kindergarten hands....we needed those too.
It was great to talk to all of the kids and get to know M's new class while I painted their hands and wrists tree bark brown.
They washed their hands and arms after their tree print. Then they came back and as we talked about tree leaves, they chose the colors they wanted to use and started making finger prints around the branches, some falling from the tree and some on the ground.
Wife to a VERY understanding man (even if he does roll his eyes and duck back into his garage way too much); mother to three maniacs, crafter, professional volunteer, crazed maniac in her own right...yep, that about covers it for now.
It's about crafts, family, gardening, life....really whatever the heck I want to talk about. I am wordy, messy, opinionated, disorganized, lacking in focus, manic, craft obsessed...and pretty much this all spills out on the pages of this blog. You've been warned!
